With the change of seasons, you are probably spending more time outdoors. More physical activity such as sports and gardening can present environmental and physical stresses. With more dependable, beautiful weather, it’s best to ease into these activities gradually.
Recently a patient went for a run in the park as the season was changing. Afterwards, they experienced headaches, muscle strain and pain on the right side of the hip. An evaluation led to a chiropractic treatment for an imbalance in the pelvis and spine. This alleviated the muscle spasm in their hips, glutes, shins, and calves. I also recommended that they purchase new running shoes!
Chiropractic Care to the Rescue
Regular chiropractic care helps to reduce allergies, sinus pressure and muscle spasms by changing the tone of muscles and alignment of joints. Along with spinal adjustments, we offer lifestyle and nutritional advice based on specific needs and goals. Acupuncture modulates energy pathways and nerve function in the body to help achieve optimum health.
Chiropractic care is a holistic method that recognizes that our bodies are able to operate at a higher level when physical, nutritional and environmental aspects of health are taken into account.
